Animal Welfare Approved will be attending the 5th Annual Aurora GreenFest on Saturday June 14! This free family event takes place from 9 am to 4 pm at the Prisco Community Center & McCullough Park in Aurora, IL. The festival features a Children’s Eco-Village and Central Region FMOC Alexandra Frantz will be representing AWA at the Community Trade Show with over 100 other eco-friendly exhibitors from the Fox Valley Region. 2014 is the United Nations International Year of the Family Farm, and the festival plans to celebrate family farms, CSA’s, and local farmers. Find solutions for earth-friendly living with local organic food, clean renewable energy, nature exhibits, a green car expo, and recycling extravaganza!
