AWA-UCCE Sonoma Event

Join AWA’s Beth Spitler and UCCE Livestock and Range Management Advisor, Dr. Stephanie Larson, for a workshop on animal welfare certifications on Monday, September 8th, 5:30-8:30 pm. Beth, AWA’s Farmer and Market Outreach Coordinator for the Western Region, will speak about how third-party certification can help differentiate high-welfare pasture- and range-based producers and the wide range of free resources and services available to AWA farmers, including AWA’s Good Husbandry Grants. Dr. Larson will address overall animal production and rangeland health. Light refreshments will be provided.
