Pop-Up Dinner at Jam Chicago

AWA’s Central Region Farmer and Market Outreach Coordinator Alexandra Frantz will join Chef Aram Reed, Farmer Greg Gunthorp, and Dr. Richard R. Wood, Executive Director of Food Animal Concerns Trust, for Community Dining's first pop-up dinner at Jam in Chicago. The evening will feature a panel discussion of farm management practices including animal welfare standards, responsible antibiotics use, slaughter guidelines, and how to interpret and understand food labels to make the most of your food purchasing dollars. Dinner will include passed appetizes, juice, and wine, as well as dishes sourced from local farms including Gunthorp Farms and a vivid description of each dish.
