California Olive Ranch Inc. (COR) is highly regarded for its award-winning, high quality and best-selling Extra Virgin Olive Oil products.  Working in partnership with A Greener World (AGW), the brand recently certified California Olive Ranch-managed farms in the Certified Regenerative by AGW program, bringing more than 4,600 acres under verified regenerative certification.  This achievement marks the first phase of the company’s ambitious multi-year transition to certified regenerative practices, with plans to certify the remaining grower-partner farms in the coming years.

Certified Regenerative by AGW is an innovative certification program providing an assurance of regeneration and sustainability, measuring benefits for soil, water, air, biodiversity, infrastructure, animal welfare and social responsibility. It ensures farms are meeting initial rigorous sustainability standards, but also continually improving.

Over the last several years, the company has committed to implementing regenerative agriculture practices across all the California Olive Ranch-managed farms including cover crops, livestock grazing, hedgerow planting, composting and more, with the goal of improving the overall health of the soil, trees and olives. COR also partners with over 50 family farmers across the state of California with plans to pursue certification for its grower-partners’ farms in the coming years.

California Olive Ranch is the largest grower of olives for Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) in the nation.
