Sublime Organics, LLC – Sublimity, OR

Greg and Ellen Wilt raise Certified Animal Welfare Approved by A Greener World (AGW) goats and sheep on their farm in Sublimity, Oregon. The farm is 67 acres in total, consisting of pastures, market vegetable production, a fruit orchard and forested watershed and wetlands with a seasonal stream and pond.

Established in 2014, Sublime Organics, LLC is owned and operated by the Wilts with the assistance of volunteers from the Willing Workers On Organic Farms (WWOOF) network. Through this network, the Wilts have hosted dozens of volunteers that are eager to get their hands dirty and learn about organic farming practices. The volunteers often spend many, many hours pulling weeds and helping to cultivate the soil because no herbicides are used on the farm.

The Wilts raise Certified Animal Welfare Approved by AGW Boer goats and Katahdin sheep for high-quality meat. “Our goal is to raise livestock in a humane and ecologically sustainable manner and add diversity to our farming practices while supporting biodynamic principles,” says Greg Wilt.
